I purchased a Weim Christmas present for my mom a few years ago; her name is Sadie.

This dog was replacing my mom’s dog (a mutt) that had died unexpectedly just a few months earlier.  I needed this dog to be perfect.  She had a lot to live up to being a “replacement”.

As I began looking for breeders I was very skeptical about going out of state.  However, that quickly changed when I first spoke with Kathie.  She was interviewing me just as much as I her; I could tell straight away she wanted to know what type of environment her babies would be living in.  I was most impressed to learn that Kathie and Geoff had a number of times intentionally backed off a sale (losing money) because they knew the homes were not right for their beloved Weimaraners.  Having this great feeling about Kathie and her dogs I packed up my kids and we headed to Las Vegas (we live in Phoenix).  We met up with Kathie and Geoff, they were in constant contact with us the entire time.  Never once did I feel like I was on some lone adventure; I felt like I was meeting with some friends.  We were able to meet Sadie’s brother (also such a cutie!!!) then too as he was being delivered that day as well.  If you are lucky enough to get a Weim from Kathie you too will know the love she has for her dogs as she cries when each one goes to its new home.  Kathie had called us a few weeks before we were to pick up Sadie and tell us about a hernia she had developed at her belly button.  I immediately called my mom’s vet and explained the situation, he was not worried at all.  When we brought Sadie home and had her checked the vet assured us all that this was very normal and would be taken care of when she was spayed (and it was).  Kathie was quick to tell me about this and did not try to hide anything.  She told me she would give any amount of the money back should there be any complications with our new puppy – it has been 2 years and she is as healthy as we could have ever asked for.

After all that I felt I had a wonderful experience purchasing a new best friend for my mom.  However, it was not until these past few years as my family and my brother’s have purchased other breeds of puppy’s did I totally understand just how wonderful Kathie is and was an ease it was purchasing this dog from her.

Heed this warning:  We have purchased a total of 5 pups between our 3 families since purchasing Sadie:

1 had Parvo – cost us $4,500 in vet bills (came from breeder)

another had Parvo – we lost her and paid $3,500 in vet bills (came from breeder) – thus the next puppy purchase.

1 had Coccidia (came from breeder)

Went to one breeder (did not purchase) and the dogs had horrible scabs and sores on their heads and the breeder was going to give all of the puppy shots at once, once the puppies were purchased (they were 10 wks old with NO shots)

Ok, long story short – Buyer Beware!!!

Thank you Kathie for your love of your dogs and your kind yet informative treatment of prospective Weimaraner owners!

I received Gracie from Vegas weims a little over three years ago.  To say that I love her more than a child would be an understatement.  I am a physician with a large practice in AZ and Gracie has been at the office everyday for over 3 years.  Her temperament is amazing.  She is fantastic with other dogs , children and anyone who she meets.  My patients get upset if she is out of the clinic and on a playdate.  She truly is a soulmate.  She sleeps in our bed, she rides in our cars.....No one has told her she is a dog, and I don't think she knows.  If you are considering a weim, there is NO other place that I would look, infact, my personal assistants weim is near his end and I have promised to purchase her a little girl from Vegas weims.  You won't be disappointed.

Grateful that we found you, David

VegasWeims was amazing.  We drove down to pick Sebastian, who is now a year and a half, last summer.  Kathie was so great and you could tell the love she has for all her babies.  Sebastian is our pride and joy and makes life the happiest it can be.  He is so mellow, well-behaved, and loves other dogs.  We always get compliments on how beautiful he is and can't wait to get another one from vegasweims!

Thank you Kathie and Geoff for making us a family :)

My husband and I adopted Bella in July. She was my birthday present. The best one I think. I have 3 children. They love her as she lover them. My husband has changed his mind completely about dogs in a home. He is from another country, that has dogs but, not in the house I knew he would change his mind. With him, it was love @ first sight.  He looks at her like one of his own children.  Bella is crate trained but often sleeps with us in our bed. But she does know her bed from ours. I never thought that the relationship with her would be this strong. My now 7 year old daughter has a very strong rrelationship with her. When she goes outside, Bella cries at the front bay window. She stands on the sofa and watches her until she comes in. Bella is not a big barker. When my daughter plays out front and someone walks by she barks. As to tell that person "I'm watching her".
Thank you for sending me such a beautiful baby pup...

 Happy New Year...

I got my baby from Kathie and Geoff almost 2 years ago.  I would not hesitate to recommend "Vegas Weims" to anyone and everyone!  Actually I have already.  I grew up with weimmies, but haven't had one in aleast 20 years.  After speaking with Kathie for weeks, having every kind of question you can think of, I decided that her babies were for me!  I have 5 children at home, so of course, I was concerned about the life these puppies had.  If they had never been around children before, I sure wanted to know that.  We also live at a lake, so I was concerned people walking up to a puppy and how that puppy would react.  After weeks of seeing all different kinds of family pictures from Geoff and Kathie, I knew those puppies were for us!  Even almost 2 years later, we still keep in touch.  Any question I have, especially now that we have entered the "woman" stage, I know who to talk to! We have never had any health issues or concerns, not even after her flight from Vegas to Atlanta! Actually, our vet said she is a beautiful representive of her breed! She has a great temperament (with 5 kids she needs one!) and has just completed our home!

I got my puppy from Vegasweims in June 2008; Shadow was born April 2008 and I was able to bring him home June 2008.  How my life has changes since being introduced to Kathie and Geoff at Vegasweims.  Kathie and Geoff sent pictures almost every week until Shadow was 8 weeks old and able to come home with me to Reno.  It was a wonderful way for me to be a part of his little life before he was able to come home with me.  One of the important issues for me was that Shadow needed to be able to come into a home where there are two active kids (4 year old and 2 year old).  I was very happy to hear that their dogs are not kept in a kennel but are able to play with the other dogs along with their own grandchildren.  You guys are the greatest and keep up the good work!

As luck would have it, we picked out the best dog in the world.  Ruby is now 3 years old, and we have had her since Christmas '05. Daughter of Bella and Ruger, she is the best tempered, most comedic, smartest and most beautiful dog we have ever seen. We love her and she loves us. We have 2 older male dogs, both rescues off the street, and she loves them too. All the dogs go to the "farm" with me every day, we have 6 horses we keep nearby on about 80 acres, with the National Forrest bordering it for long trail rides. Ruby follows the horses wherever we go, and thinks they are just big dogs. She kisses them on the nose and they nuzzle her, she does not chase or bark at them. Her energy is well managed with the farm trips and a big back yard, since she lives in our house, she is very well behaved. She is kind to children, other dogs, even very small dogs and a guinea pig, but the cats are just too much fun to chase. She is my 4th weim over my lifetime; my parents raised them when I was a kid. This breed is just amazing, and I hope to add another weim to our family one of these days. It will come from VegasWeims.

I could not be more pleased with VEGASweims with providing me with my best friend, Fritz!  I drove from Portland to Vegas to pick him up August of 2007.  It was 34 hours total driving and worth every minute.  I searched weims online and couldn't find a male puppy available in Oregon when I wanted to buy myself a college graduation present *wink.  That was until I found Vegasweims.  Kathy and Geoff were so great in helping me with the process of picking a puppy out and even more helpful transitioning Fritz to me.  I get compliments all the time about his temperament and how well behaved he is (weird how most people think weims are nuts)!  I have done obedience training with him, but I think he knew everything before we did it, and I was the one who needed the training.  He is such a great addition to my life and I could not imagine what it would be like without him.  I will definitely go back to Vegasweims to get another at some point down the road.

I recommend Vegasweims 100% and I can't thank you enough for the big guy who is currently snoring on my bed as I write this!

Review: We brought our little bundle of gray joy (Pixie) home December 2008.  The vet checked her out and said she was perfectly healthy.  She has been a nice addition to the family.   My 10 year old Weimaraner (Phoenix) didn't really want much to do with her for about the first week or so, but now Pixie can be found sleeping with her head on top of Phoenix and they are fine.
Pixie goes hiking with me and she really enjoys trotting alongside me while I take a bike ride.   Pixie is very quick to pick up obedience training.  She loves the clicker training!  She is already able to sit, lie down, stay, shake, wave, leave-it, and she walks nicely on a loose leash.  Since she is early on in the training process, all of these commands are still being practiced without distractions. But I have no doubt she will do just fine when I introduce distractions.
She is a beautiful gray puppy and always garners a lot of attention when we are out and about. She loves to ride in the car and goes on every errand to places that allow pets.  I have also made it a point to socialize her around other healthy dogs and as many people as possible.  She even took to a cat we rescued.  She licked the cat in the face and wanted to play with it.
If anyone out there is considering purchasing their Weimaraner from VegasWEIM, you should feel very comfortable in doing so. Geoff and Kathy are breeding for the right reasons..... They love the breed and are producing top notch Weimaraners. I drove from Phoenix to purchase mine from them and wouldn't hesitate purchasing another dog from them in the future.  Thanks, Geoff and Kathy for being supporters of this wonderful breed.
Keep up the good work

I got our puppy on June 2008, as a replacement for my father's Weim.
Geoff and Kathie helped us get our baby shipped to our destination, from where we would be taking it back home ( El Salvador ). Our new baby is wonderful, she is full of love and carisma. The fact that these puppies are handled and bred as family pets, makes an enormous difference.
They are adorable.
Thank you.

Thank You so Much! Kathie and Geoff you guys are awesome! It was such a pleasure to meet you both! Kathie and Geoff were so easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable! I asked a ton of questions and Kathie was so kind and always very prompt on getting back to me! We love our new baby! She is so adorable and loving but the best part is she was just as loved by Kathie and Geoff before we brought her home! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great new addition to their family! I couldn't thank them enough!

We live in the Seattle-area and when we were not able to find a breeder that we really connected with locally, I started researching on-line to find a 'family' that had a wonderful breeding/raising philosophy. Easier said than done! Finally, I found VegasWeims' site and connected with Kathie. I was immediately impressed with the fact that Kathie would invest so much time in connecting with us before we actually decided to commit. I was especially impressed with Kathie's commitment to ensuring that not only would a Weim be right for us, but that we would be able to provide the right kind of exercise and training that our puppy would need to fit into our family. Although we wanted to be able to choose our puppy in person, our location didn't make that feasible. Choosing from Kathie's descriptions of personalities and all of their gorgeous little faces in photos, we fell in love with Mazzy, Thea's baby #5. When she was 9 weeks old, we flew down to Vegas, met Geoff in the airport and took Mazzy home. She was still small enough to ride in a carrier in the cabin with us. She slept the entire flight...what a good girl!
So...fast forward to today. Mazzy will turn 1 in early April. She is nothing short of amazing. We're continuing to work on training with her as she is so smart, energetic and eager to please. She relishes any chance to snuggle or be as close to you as possible, loves her playtime her puppy-friends and long naps by the fireplace. She has such a beautiful love for life and we find great pleasure on our long walks. Our boys (ages 7 and 10) adore her and from a very early age, she intently watched them on our walks, never straying too far from their side on the open trail.

Kathie and Geoff clearly approach their role as a labor of love and we are grateful to them for bringing such a beautiful and loving dog into our world. Thank you!

My husband brought Bella home as a surprise for me last May when we still lived in Denver and she was the most  adorable puppy ever!  Her temperament and love of cuddling made her a perfect fit with us. When we made the move to Maui, we were a little worried about flying her, but she made the trip like a pro and she's loving life out here.  Bella is a wonderful companion, work out partner and I'm so glad Jon did his research to find the best breeders out there, you guys are wonderful!  She comes to work with me every day and gets tons of attention from the high school students I work with (which she loves).   I bring her everywhere I can, hiking, walking, to the beach, dog parks, baseball games and I'm trying to get her on a surf board.  Everyone on the island remarks on how beautiful she is, her eyes, where did we get her, and I proudly tell them from VegasWeim!  Keep up the good work :)

Fist I would like to thank Kathie and Geoff for there willingness to communicate and answer so many of our questions.  They were very honest and knowledgeable about there breed.  At first I was a little unsure about a Weim, but after researching the breed and reading everything on there web site I knew what I was getting into.  Peyton is by far the best dog I have ever owned and I highly recommend Vegasweims to anyone interested in a Weim.  Not to mention everywhere we go she gets remarks about how beautiful she is, she is great with children and other dogs.
Kathie and Geoff keep up the great work, our puppy has brought us lots of love and laughter.

Vegas Weims are the best breeders you can possibly choose. Unlike many other breeders who may kennel their dogs up to 20 hours a day, these let their puppies run and play and get personal attention and love.  It really shows in the demeanor of the dogs.
We have a big handsome boy who is just over 1year old and he is happy, smart, gentle, well behaved, and physically stunning to look at. He is now a pappa and has produced beautiful babies of his own.
The customer service was excellent and more than what I'd expected. Kathie and Geoff are honest, kind and have great integrity. They really love these dogs and it shows in their puppies!
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I love my Weim, she is sweet, playful, loving & just everything I knew Weims to be. I bought my beautiful pup Ava sight unseen and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. Kathie & Geoff called us to make sure she arrived to us ok.
I know that they really love & care for their Weims.

Kathy, we purchased an amazing little blue female from you that we named Daisy Mae.  She has been a pleasure from day one, all full of the life, love and mischief that make Weims such fun to own.  It was wonderfule to meet Kathy at your facility.  After meeting you, I felt absolutely confidence that i was buying a well socialized and cared for pup and I was right.

Thanks from all of us!

I got my weim from them 9 months ago and couldn’t be more happy. When ever I needed help with anything they were always there for me. Zeke had got a parasite and was fighting it but couldn’t seem to get it cured so I talked with Kathy to get some help. My dog also has really dry skin and tried everything that the vet said but that did nothing so I emailed Vegas Weims again asking for more help and that night I got an email back. Like before the info they gave me help huge. Is skin and coat are getting better everyday. As far as Zeke Der Geist he is something special. I now live in a house with all hardwood floors so its slick. Well he cant get the idea of just walking it would be faster then trying to keep his feet under him as he runs thru the house. Its fun to watch tho because he uses his tail as a rutter, more is slides harder he binds is tail. He passed his puppy class somewhat well. Everything I read they say weims when young have a 1 sec attention span, didn’t really believe it but now i fully do, wish it was a sec. Zekes is more like an eye blink. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience and my new family member!!!
Thank you again for everything you have helped me with!!

We brought our baby boy home three years ago. Since he was of german decent we decided Dieter would be a fitting name! When we welcomed him into our family he was just a puppy and so curious and full of energy. Well, three years later he is still curious and full of energy! We love it. We really live an active lifestyle and Dieter thrives running along side of us wherever we go. We now have three kids and he is like a big brother to them all. Dieter is always swimming, running, sleeping, and taking their toys! I think collecting toys is his hobby. Dieter is such an amazing animal and friend, his tail is always wagging. He is such a big part of our family we wouldn't know what to do without him.
Thanks so much for an amazing animal!

After having golden retrievers my entire life, I was pretty set on believing that they were the best dogs. Not even two weeks into my life with Wrigley, I was completely mistaken. She is easily the most intelligent dog I have ever
owned. She never stops exceeding my expectations of her. In only two months she has mastered: sit, shake, lay down, “sit pretty,” come, and release - all coming within the first 10 minutes of every lesson. Even more so than her intelligence, what I love most about her is insane energy. I was looking for a running partner and man did I find one. Almost four months old and she can already run 3 miles with me, toying with me the entire time, as almost to say, “I can still go faster!!!” I love that she never leaves my side and is always investigating everything Even if she is in a dead sleep and I get off the couch she will wake up, follow me down the hall saying “Hey wait for me!” And whether my parents’ golden retrievers, girlfriend’s miniature dachshund, or my sister’s mixed terrier, she gets along with every dog she encounters. She loves everyone and is always excited to see anyone.

Kathie and Geoff made the experience of getting a Weimaraner amazing. I knew that during the first few minutes in my first conversation with Kathie, hearing the passion, caring, and excitement in her voice, I was making the perfect choice in getting Wrigley from them. I knew even more that it was meant to be when they had a puppy ready to go when I was going to be in Vegas (for my first trip ever). They drove all the way in from Pahrump to make the experience easier on me, kissing and hugging Wrigley before they let her go.
Whenever anyone asks me about her, I always tell them, I know the perfect place to get one if you’re interested!

Everything at the airport went well, so that was nice, just a lot of waiting.  Once we saw him I giggled like a 3 yr old, soooo cute!  We were the envy of the room as everyone else there oooed and awwwed over them.
The 2 hr ride home he just sat on my lap, sleeping and shivering.  We got home very late so the kids didn’t see him until the next morning.  Oh the joy on there faces to wake up to that little floppy eared bundle of silver cuteness!  They couldn’t get enough of him. I think they overwhelmed him a bit.
For the next couple of days he was quiet and calm as he explored his new home and family, and then……………..the craziness!!!!  He quickly turned into a jumping, chewing, peeing, sharp toothed nut!  The kids love affair with there new puppy quickly changed after many tears from being scratched and bit.  And mom and dad were a bit grumpy from lack of sleep as a result of getting up 3-4-5 times during the night to take out that whining boy for a pee.  I wont lie, the first couple months were pretty trying on us.  Also part of our struggle was the fact that our old friend “Reggie” (our boxer), was getting worse, his brain tumor was causing his seizures to become more sever and frequent.  We were consumed with caring for our dying dog, he was a full time job as the seizures were coming all day and through the night.  I have to say, between trying to house train Gunner, and Reg loosing control of his bladder with every seizure, my floors have never been washed so much! J
Sadly, Reggie died just before Christmas.  I think Gunner was just as sad as us for a couple days, although they were only buddies for a short period of time, Gunner seemed lost after he was gone.  Reg was so good with Gunner, he would let him chew on his neck constantly to the point where my poor old boxer had scabs all over his neck from those sharp little teeth.  He knew he was just trying to play, and he had much more patience with him than we did!  We all miss him terribly.
Well, all is not all negative gloomy!  After Reggie passed we had much more time to dedicate with Gunner.  And in his defense, we was a energetic pup cooped up in the house due to our frigid Canadian winter.  Oh it was funny trying to get him outside, he would run to the door but as soon as we opened it and he would feel the cold air hit him, the breaks went on and he would look at us like “you don’t really expect me to go out there do you?”.  It took him awhile to get climatized, he will now stay out there down to about -10 degrees.  And of course this has been one of the worst winters I can remember!  He has come so far, FINALY house trained, and the biting has gotten much better.  My husband became a big fan of the show “The dog Whisperer” and some of those techniques have helped us.  Gunner still needs work as he still bites when he gets excited, but he’s much more manageable now and best of all the kids have fallen back in love with him and are really enjoying him.   Especially my youngest daughter, she just thinks he’s the best thing on the planet (that’s her in the pic with him).  Gunner has really become a much loved member of our family, we adore him.
So, I thought you might want a glimpse of a day in the life of Gunner.  First off, he wakes up and goes out to do his business, then it’s time to say goodbye to the girls for the day as they get on the bus.  I wonder if he thinks “what’s going on?  Why does that big thing come and eat up my family every morning?” because after they drive away he frantically sniffs around running in circles where they stood then looking off in the distance at the bus, then more frantic sniffing, it’s so funny LOL.  Then breakfast time, we have fed him raw meat and bones since the day we got him and he loves it!  Meals are his favorite part of his day!  He is a very good and respectful boy with food, waiting until I give him the “ok” before devouring it in like seconds!  Then if it’s not to cold out, he will stay out and torment our husky for awhile.  He has now learned to bark when he wants back in, however the learning curve has left our front door a victim to his nails:-O  He usually has a short morning nap before he’s ready to go again.  Once up it’s now time to go downstairs and find any one of the many toys (preferably a nice soft stuffed animal) to steel, and see how long he can get away with chewing on it.  Actually, lately his true retriever instincts have been coming out as he just goes and finds a stuffed rabbit or dog or whatever, and quietly comes to my side and drops it right in front of me and looks up as if to say “look what I brought you!”, it’s so cute and a real witness to his intelligence.  Then back outside, weather permitting, (cold days are not fun) to explore and run to his hearts content.  We have about a 7 acre yard and are surrounded by much much more farm land, a dog heaven.  Spring will be so nice as we will  be outside more with him and he can take advantage of all this space, then in the summer, spending our days swimming in the ditch that runs next to our house.  Ahhhhhh summer!  In the late afternoon, time for some more raw meat…mmmmm!  Then a good long nap, sometimes even outside if the sun is shining.  Or he will find whatever spot in the house that happens to have sun shining through a window and lay there.  A true heat hog, just like me!  He even tries to push me off the heater if I happen to be standing over it to warm up…turkey!  The rest of the day is spent playing outside….chasing the shop cats, hanging out with papa at work, exploring with his buddy (husky) or the kids, playing fetch or just being a huge suck, he’s all about the love.  He settles down quite a bit in the evenings, napping on and off.  Then one last meal before he’s down for the night.
Then all over again=D
We really love him a lot, he brings us joy, and companionship, and more love than can fit on our laps!  Hahahahaha
Thanks for all your hard work to bring these wonderful dogs into the world.
It’s a pleasure to get a pet from people who obviously love ALL there animals soooo very much!
Take care guys,
And God Bless!

Hi, we adopted a Weim and a Vizsla from Kathy and Geoff, there names are Heinz and Scilla. We got truely blessed!! Our babys are well behaved and the most loving dogs anyone could ever ask for. Talking with Kathy and Geoff has been a great experience. They are very patient, fun loving people and there dogs are their children. I cant think of a better breeder to buy from. So when we are ready for our next puppie we will have no doubt who we will be talking to. Thank you so much!!!
We send a whole lot of love from Cali.

(Chelsea and Trevor took in an Adult Weim we rescued and a little crippled Vizsla from VegasWeims.

I was very pleased to meet Kathie and Geoff and saw right off that they love their dogs, the Weimaraner breed, and are concerned with the quality of what they are doing. I appreciate their dedication to making great dogs and would recommend anyone wanting a Weim to get one from them. My experience with our new Weim has been wonderful. Granite’s  3 months old now and a fantastic dog. He loves walking through the woods with me smelling everything so full of excitement like he's on the hunt. He prances all over the place although he never lets me get out of his sight for too long. Sometimes he'll trip me from behind staying so close, while other times he gets in front and I have to watch how I step. He is full of affection and love and he is a "shadow" as the books about Weims say. If I get up and go from room to room or anywhere outside he’s right there with me. We took him for his first boat ride on our lake the other day and he was right up o
n the bow with my other dog like he'd done it dozens of times.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience getting a puppy from VegasWEIMS has been.  Through the entire process they have been so kind, supportive & informative.  I feel like I have a whole new family now, not just a puppy.  From the very beginning, Kathie kept the lines of communication so open, sent tons of pictures & updated me on every little detail about "Lucy" so I knew about her through every stage.  I felt like I knew & loved both of them before I even met them.  I adore "Lucy".  She is the most beautiful dog & I have never seen more personality or spirit.  She adjusted so quickly & well to our home, it's like she has always been in our family.  I feel spoiled by having her & VegasWEIMS- it is so nice to have the confidence that we have a healthy, amazing dog & lifetime support system/family in Geoff & Kathie.

I recieved Uros, in Feb. of this year.  Kathie was amazing to work with and very understanding.  When I first decided to get Uros I was in Iraq and communicated with Kathie over email.  After I decided that I wanted to get one of the puppies I found out I was being extended for an additional month in Iraq which meant I would not be home when the puppies were ready to go home.  Kathie was more than willing to keep the little guy for the extra month while I was still in Iraq.  When I got off the plane he was waiting for me at the airport.  When I am ready for another Weim I know I will be returning to Kathie.  Her dogs also have the most amazing personality and temperment.  Thank you so much for everything!!

You are the best damn breeder and person I ever met.  You are extremely passionate about not only your own dogs, and every litter, but the families that adopt as well.  Having my babies is the best thing that could have ever happened.  No job, no money, no professional item could ever replace the love that I receive from them.  Words will never be able to express how ecstatic I am to have Weimaraners in my life

It all started when my youngest wanted a dog of his own.  We as a family had never had a Weim, Bailee is our first.  I first contacted Kathy to discuss her pups and learn more about the breed.  FYI to anyone, there are no bad dogs, just owners.  Potential dog owners need to understand the breed they are getting and remember they grow up.  We as a family read about Weims, yes, they spill a bit of water at the water bowl, yes we knew we could deal with that.  They are not a lap or purse dog!  They are highly intellegent and will be as effectionate as you teach them to be.  Bailee has been a wonderful addition to our family and is very loyal and funny.  She also gets along with our other 2 dogs which are Corgis.  She loves her Jollie Ball and has not been a destructive dog.  Dogs need attention, they need exercise and you have to be willing to give that.  I will say she sleeps with me and is very spoiled and both Kathy and her husband truly have love for these animals.

After looking for breeders in Arizona via the web, we came across Las Vegas Weims. My husband and I were living in North Carolina at the time and wanted to find a breeder to get our first dog (and first Weim) from after we moved back to Arizona. We were in awe of the photos on her web site that all her happy customers sent in of their dogs enjoying their new homes and trips across the world! And after several emails about our lifestyle, what behavior and health issues to expect with this breed and what puppies were available- we picked our little guy from photos of the current litter.

Our move back to AZ got delayed bit due to a change in my husband’s military deployment and Kathy was kind enough to hold on to our puppy for several weeks, without any additional fees, until we were fully relocated to Arizona. She even sent us photos ever couple of weeks so I could see him as he grew!

Our pup is 10 months old now and such a great addition to our family! He is such a beautiful dog, well-natured and I get compliments on how beautiful he is almost daily when we go on walks, go to dog park and even when he is just driving around town with me.

I was 100% satisfied with our experience with Las Vegas Weims. If we ever have enough room in our home (and our life!) for another Weim, I will most definitely be a repeat customer. And would 100% refer Las Vegas Weims to anyone!

Recently got our beautiful sweet "Ida Red" from Kathie and Geoff.  I was a little worried about buying a Weim from them with only the internet and my phone for contacts; but I needn't have worried.  Kathie and Geoff were so helpful and promptly responded to all my inquires.  I could tell from their website and their videos of their dogs that they are conciencious and responsible breeders - and they obviously love their dogs and give them the very best tender loving care.  I like the fact that they are very careful about who they sell their dogs to; they are in this business for all the right reasons!  Kathie went well out of her way to help deliver our puppy to us - they are truely exceptional people who breed exceptional dogs.  It was obvious from the moment we got her that she was showered with love and attention from day one as Ida is very sweet, social, and very confident - she has fit into our family beautifully; we love her so much!
Thanks, Kathie and Geoff!

Where do I begin? We got our baby girl "Keike" in June 2009.   After much research on Weim breeders, and not finding any I was comfortable with in California, I was lucky enough to find Vegas Weims.  After my first phone conversation with Kathie I knew this was the right place.  Kathie and Geoff were/are such a wealth of knowledge about the breed and answered ALL of my questions without hesitation (they still do to this day).   I have never met anyone who is so passionate and loves this breed more than Kathie...making my decision to go with Vegas Weims so incredibly easy.
Keike is just a kick! She has so much character and personality! The facial expressions she gives and the way she cocks her head to the side and looks at you are just priceless!! She is a little ball of energy that loves to run, play and chase us in the backyard, at the beach or where ever we happen to be...most of the time she wears us out!  Her coat is so incredibly beautiful, her athletisicm is amazing, her face is just perfect and her eyes, those eyes, I melt everytime I look at her.  Not a day goes by that someone doesn't compliment how beautiful she is when we are out and about or on our daily walks.  Our vet is even in awe of her, constantly telling us how perfect she is everytime we go in for her required shots.   I could not have asked for a better dog.  I just love her!!!
If you are looking for a happy, healthy, beautiful Weim, I would STONGLY recommend Vegas Weims.
YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
Thank you Kathie and Geoff for my baby girl.  I will forever be in debt to you both.  *SMILING*

Geoff and Kathie are amazing people! They made you feel extremely comfortable every step of the way before being able to recieve our Pennie. I emailed kathie like crazy and probably drove HER crazy but she always emailed me back with page long responses. They love weims and i loved that you get to meet their WHOLE family when you visit :) I will forever recommend them whenever the chance comes along and I will definately return when we think about another weim :) Our Pennie is amazing and shes very beautiful and healthy! you can't go wrong with Vegas Weims. I feel honored to own a pup from them, we're the talk of the neighborhood...well Pennie is anyways.

After months of dealing with another  breeder and not having any results, I found Vegas Weims and decided to give them a call.  The phone was immediately answered by Kathy and we spent about 30mins discussing my families lifestyles and previous attempts of purchase.  Kathy, put me at ease and I knew after our initial conversation that this was the breeder I had previously wanted by couldn't find.  Kathy stated that she had new litter and informed me that she believed they had the perfect weim for us.  I felt a connection and thought, why not.  I placed my deposit and went with her suggestion.  We still had 2 months before Lexie could come home; however in that time, Kathy sent numerous emails and answered my call everytime.  Kathy then emailed me one day to set up transportation, I called her back and she informed me that she would have someone personally escort Lexie home on the plane.  What a relief, as I had reservations of a brand new pup flying in the cargo area.  Upon are pick up day, weather had delayed the flight.  Knowing that my drive to the airport was over 3 hours, Kathy wasted no time calling me and informing me of the new arrival time.  Once at the airport, we were greeted by a friend of Kathy who took extremely good care of our new addition.  It has now been 6 months since Lexie has joined our ranks and she is more beautiful than I could ever imagine.  Every time we go out, Lexie gets all the compliments.  I want to thank Vegas Weims for all their care and devotion they spent in making my families purchase an enjoyable one.  Thank you!

Kathie & Geoff have been extraordinary from the very first telephone call many months ago when I made the decision to look in to another Weimaraner pup. They breed sound, healthy, great temperament, socialized pups that are carefully placed accordingly in the right homes. One thing that I especially admired was the screening that Kathie put me thru! This showed me the sign of a great breeder-as I think if she could keep every pup-she would. I have had the privilege of having two previously and Kathie provided me with still new advice on nutrition and vitamin information. There is much follow up and she is always there for any question or support one may require. If anyone is serious about this breed, I would recommend Vegasweims.
Rudi is absolutely wonderful, well adjusted, healthy, and makes every day an adventure!
Thank you Kathie & Geoff.
